Used for centuries as a means of gathering food, Falconry entails many hours of training before the birds are taken out for the real thing.
I was invited to accompany Chris O’Donnel, the then owner of the Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre nr. Settle in North Yorkshire and some of his friends, out for an afternoon with the Goshawks. We were to fly them on the side of Pen – y – Ghent and used a ferret to flush the rabbits out. I enjoyed my afternoon with the camera.
