Usually a bird of cliff tops, I luckily found some at the Old Head of Kinsale feeding early morning on a stubble field. I only managed to get near enough to one of them to take some distance shots. Nearer home, a lone Chough stayed at Warton Crag quarry, Nr. Carnforth, for some months, usually spotted flying along the cliff top, calling. I was amazed when one day it flew to near the bottom of the quarry and straight towards me, landing on top of a fence some 20 feet away. My camera was on the car bonnet but by moving slowly for it I managed not to scare the bird away and get these few images before it departed up the cliff again.
